第二章 隅田川

海へ向かう広い大川の両河岸には
高層ビルが建ち並び、高速道路の立体交差が縦走しています。
これに加えて鉄道や自動車、歩行者用の橋が数えきれないほど架かっています。
能、人形浄瑠璃、歌舞伎などの舞台となった豊かな歴史を語る川。
ここに今、東京スカイツリーの姿も加わりました。
